For the attention of all clubs
Use of the Comet Football App is mandatory for match day team submission for all CDSL Matches from 13th Sept 2025 onwards.
The following conventions apply:
All players must be in confirmed status on FAI Connect/Comet. Teams to be confirmed before match starts.
Home Team responsible for match time keeping; i.e starting and ending each half.
Each team responsible for entering their own team's scores, scorers, substitutions and any yellow and red cards issued.
The home club secretary must notify the Fixtures Secretary by 1pm the day before a match if the home pitch is unplayable. If the home pitch is unplayable, the home team will be required to travel to the away teams ground if the reverse fixture has not already been played.
Clubs are required to make sure all players and coaches are registered and in the CONFIRMED status and assigned to your clubs roster in the CDSL Competition on FAI Connect in advance of the relevant fixture as per the FAI Governance Handbook and the Competition Rules.
