FAI, MFA and CDSL Cup Competitions: In the event of a draw there will be 10 minutes each-way extra-time and penalties if necessary. If a match goes to extra-time and penalties a new match phase needs to be added on the Comet app for each phase.

Home Teams, please text or WhatsApp the match result to 087 7942417 after match has finished.

For the attention of all clubs:

Use of the Comet Football App is mandatory for match day team submission for all CDSL Matches from 13th Sept 2025 onwards.

The following conventions apply:

Home Team responsible for match time keeping; i.e. starting and ending each half.

Each team responsible for entering their own team's scores, scorers, substitutions and any yellow and red cards issued. If a match goes to extra-time and penalties a new match phase needs to be added on the Comet app for each phase i.e. extra-time and penalties.

The home club secretary must notify the Fixtures Secretary by 1pm the day before a match if the home pitch is unplayable. If the home pitch is unplayable, the home team will be required to travel to the away teams ground if the reverse fixture has not already been played.

Clubs are required to make sure all players and coaches are registered and in the CONFIRMED status and assigned to your clubs roster in the CDSL Competition on FAI Connect in advance of the relevant fixture as per the FAI Governance Handbook and the Competition Rules. Links have been included below for guides on player registrations.
